Client Care Coordinator
Briana Peterson earned her bachelor’s degree in public health with a minor in substance abuse counseling from the University of Nevada, Reno. Following her undergraduate studies, she joined the Peace Corps and worked in the country of Grenada as a mental health advocate and elementary school teacher. Briana has several years of experience working as a technician and client coordinator in a variety of areas within mental health care, including eating disorder recovery, addiction, and mood disorders.
As a client care coordinator at Thrive Wellness, she fulfills her passion of supporting individuals to better themselves and their lives. Additionally, she serves her community as a hazard mitigation specialist with the Federal Emergency Management Agency. In her spare time, Briana loves to spend time with her family, friends, and dog, Mickey. Her favorite season is summer as it allows her to swim in the nearest lake, river, or ocean.
