Therapist
Karen earned her bachelor’s in Psychology as well as her Master’s in Social Work at the University of Nevada, Reno. She practices a humanistic, intersectional, and trauma-informed approach in therapy. Karen is trained extensively in suicide prevention with adolecents and adults. She has worked in the field for many years, primarily in Title I schools, and by providing in-home ABA therapy to children with ASD. Karen enjoys working with children, adolescents, and families. She is passionate about adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), interventions with youth, the LGBTQIA+ community, and the BIPOC community.
