Tamara has over 20 years of healthcare experience, over 15 of which has been in mental health, including chronic mental illness and substance abuse. She also has over 9 years of experience as a Psychiatric APN, including tele-psychiatry, inpatient, outpatient, crisis, contracted and private practice experience. Additionally, she’s obtained extensive training in a psychotherapeutic modality called psychodrama and practice psychotherapy when available. At Thrive, her service expertise lies in medication management. Although Tamara will be accessible through telehealth, her unique and diverse life experiences give her the ability to offer compassionate and tailored client care. 

She works with adults, 18-65 years of age, of all races, religions, gender identities and sexualities and who identify as struggling with mental health symptoms related to depression, anxiety, mood disorders, OCD, trauma-related symptoms and eating disorders. 

In Tamara’s personal time, she enjoys baking, walking, dancing, doing yoga, practicing Zen, and being in community and nature and spending time with loved ones.
